"We had a Superbowl Party Sunday and Lois cooked up a storm. She made the mushroom appetizer you taught us, cherry tomatoes stuffed with Boursin cheese spread and olives, the salad with the orange flavored jicama, and last but not least, the sweet potato pie.

My daughter, tasting the food, became convinced she was in the wrong house, and got up and started to leave. Lois had to show her license and social security card, and Stephanie sat back down.

"When I stumbled across your cooking class, I did not give the name "Simply Impressive" much thought. After taking your Oktoberfest class, I now realize how fitting it is. The class was well organized and the instruction was top notch. The recipes are simple to follow and absolutely delicious. Best of all, they used "regular" ingredients. I wasn't forced to ask "What is that?" or "Where can I find that?". I made the apple infused pork chops at home last night, and my family LOVED them! Simple? Yes. Impressive? Truly!

"I have been taking cooking classes with Judy for over two years. I have found it to be one of the best investments of my time and resources. For birthday’s and special events, my family loves to request that I make one of the many recipes I have learned from Judy. For every holiday we have certain foods that are now traditional in our home and they all come from Simply Impressive.

We save money because I can make most anything better than a restaurant and for so much less. My husband and I took a trip to Sedona and we were so disappointed that we would pay so much for fancy salads and the ones I have learned to prepare are so much tastier. Not to mention the deserts I have learned to prepare such as a Judy’s “Fresh Fruit Tart”. I wish I could tell you my favorite recipe but I have so many that I couldn’t possibly choose one.

"I have been going to classes at Simply Impressive for a couple of years. I have never gone to a class that I didn’t learn something new, besides new recipes of course. I have learned about some really cool kitchen gadgets, shortcuts to make preparation easier and met a lot of really nice people. The “hands-on” approach makes it a lot more fun than watching someone prepare a meal – you can do that on the Food Network.

"Just a note to thank you for a most entertaining, and informative afternoon. The (Oktoberfest) menu was top notch. I loved everything but my very favorite was the sauerkraut. I loved the subtle taste of the sauerkraut My husband came with silverware so he could eat before we got home. We sat in a parking lot on the way to my daughters and devoured it all. He loved the apple cake and I am going to make one today. I loved the way you flavored the food with your spices."
